The one where Bono took the stage

I have a habit of being in the right place at the right time. Once upon a time I was out at a local bar listening to a local band fumble through their set list. People kept taking pictures of this guy… Who eventually hopped up on stage and when we heard the opening strains of “Where the Streets have No Name”, we knew we had stumbled upon something good. That night I heard a free concert from 25% of one of the biggest rock bands in the world. I love this town!

  3. No worries, I often bemoan the lack of an edit function on Blogger comments. I'd upgrade the comment system but I'm really quite lazy...

  8. Thanks all! For a lame Saturday night at a local haunt, it ended up being a pretty cool way to spend the night.

  12. I'm hoping I have that kind of moment sometime. :-) Once my partner was seated behind Tracy Chapman at a concert, but they didn't talk.

  13. WordNerd - I know, right? It was an interesting night.

Mojo Writin' - While I feel he is personally a bit of a douche, some moments of my life have been defined by U2's music. Besides, leave when my beer is full? That's a crime against nature! ;)

    Trucker's Wife - I certainly thought so!

Beachlover - It was one of many. I'll tell the story of meeting Emieril some time.

Eccentricity - You know, I don't think I'd say anything either. How does the conversation go? "So hey, you're " "Yes, yes I am." "Cool." Then it's just all awkward and stuff because what do you say after that?
