I started this blog when my husband and I were expecting our first child to document my pregnancy and warn people of all the things nobody tells you about. Now The Parasite is a walking, talking marvel and in spite of all the on-the-job surprises, we wanted to do it again. Kidlet 2.0 is on the way and I forgot as much as I learned. One might think that motherhood has softened me...

Thank you :) It was our very first tangle with a wasp. Once the initial sting (har har har) subsided she was just fine. Phew! Kind of put a damper on the trip to the zoo, though...

Oh poor baby. Wasps really sting.
Oh this is too bad that the fun trip ended with a wasp sting. Yikes! I bet that hurt. It's still a really cute picture.
